PodWorks Studios is a fast‑growing podcast production company in Mesa that helps businesses craft their influence through high‑quality, turn‑key shows. We’re looking for a collaborative Podcast Studio Technician who loves people as much as gear. This contractor role starts at 20 hours per week with a clear path to full‑time.
What You’ll Do:
Welcome hosts & guests, set up PTZ cameras and our audio mixer
Run live multi‑cam switches in vMix (or OBS) and keep sessions on point
Troubleshoot calmly when tech misbehaves
Upload recorded files to Dropbox for our editors
Mostly in‑studio work (Mesa); occasional mobile podcast shoots
Must‑Haves:
2 + years of video‑production experience
Warm, professional client rapport
Quick problem‑solver who keeps cool under pressure
Nice‑to‑Haves:
Studio operations background
vMix or OBS experience
Pay & Schedule
$24–$27 per hour DOE
20 hrs/week to start — steady growth to full‑time
Predictable studio schedule (mostly weekdays)
